I have not been blogging like forever…
So sorry for neglecting my inner blogging interest the past few weeks.
Things have been quite busy not gladly not stressful. :D
I've started my part-time job in Starbucks for about 3 weeks now and I am loving it.
The people are friendly and there are SO many recipes to learn!
Best part is that I can drink my fav Starbucks frappucino almost every day! Twice every shift to be precise. Tall size each. We could also get a pastry (selected ones only) to munch on during our break. :)
I always opt for their Old Glazed Fashioned (It's like a Donut) or their Buttery Croissant!
Would warm up the croissant and spread cream cheese, butter or jam on it. SO AWESOME.
BUT I've been trying to get myself on a healthy-eating life style…
Lemme tell you. IT'S NOT EASY. Especially when I'm working for Starbucks and Have the option to get myself a White Mocha or Chocolate Chip Cream Frappucino anytime I want….
Temptations….temptations…temptations...
I have been trying to count my calories and it helps a bit but I think I need more accurate recording of every morsel that gets into my mouth.
I snack too much apparently =/
Guilty.
Oh well… Healthy eating doesn't come about fast and it needs time. Needs practice to hold on that thought of getting a Garrett Popcorn Chicago Mix or that yummy-licious raspberry cheesecake or that chocolate molten lava cake before we regret it in the end.
So I guess it would be good to keep on blogging on my progress frequently to keep myself on track. :)
I don't really have to lose anymore weight but I can't help it. I just gotta hit that weight of 45kg one day. It's like an unnecessary But important goal for me…You may think I'm being ridiculous, but I think its a nice weight for my short height.
Maybe then, instead of being called SHORT, people would describe me as petite. ;D
However! I have not been weighing myself since the last couple of months since even before NOV 2012 because I just KNOW that I've gained a lot of weight. For now, I'll just concentrate on eating healthy, low carb, low calorie, low/non fat food that provides me with lots of energy that could make me last throughout those tiring shifts at work.
Also at the same time, munch on snacks that helps to burn off more fats if I ever feel hungry, which is actually and TRUTHFULLY very seldom.
The Doc said my stomach have shrank after all those years of eating tiny portions and losing so much weight. To the point where it's so easy to feel so full for me.
When I say easy, I really mean it. One cup of Milo and a biscuit is enough for me to last me for a whole day of fasting during fasting month…
Going for a Buffet dinner is always a waste since I can't get much in me anyway...
I've come to learn that metabolism is the key. An increase in metabolism would definitely make losing weight so much more easier. Something that I really need to improve on.
Gonna do some research and I'll try my best to keep my blog updated to that I could remind myself and share about the healthy eating/diet tips that I've learnt. ;D
UPDATE:
Went out for a little late night shopping in Metro with my mother and we also stopped by Cold Storage to get some stuff to kick off my diet tmr morning.
Oatmeals.
Bananas.
Pears (My favorites were on discount!)
Bread. (Although not whole grain but I'm not gonna touch them though…much)
Ciao!
