Family Day Movie Outing! PARENTAL GUIDANCE

Had an awesome day today!
Spent time with the whole family plus my uncle and my cousin too.
My mother was very interested to see how Scape Baazar is like so since we're planning to watch a movie, we decided to book tickets to watch PARENTAL GUIDANCE and visit the Flea/Baazar while waiting for the show to start.
Seems like after looking around Scape, my mother and father was pretty happy. Haha :)
They planned to open a booth there one day too.

OK! Here's a movie review!

THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME.

I would give it 5/5 for comedy and emotional scenes.
I Laughed a lot and also cried a lot.

The story is mostly about the grandparents trying their very best to get closer to their problematic kids and they haven't gotten the chance to properly do it because of how they would always disagree with Alice's (their daughter and mother of the 3 kids) way of parenting. When the opportunity comes for some 'alone' time for Alice and her husband, Alice needed someone to take care of the kids and the grandparents (especially the grandmother) saw this as a golden chance to build a stronger relationship with the young ones. They are keen on NOT becoming the "other grandparents".

I love how they fit in the different characters and problems of the kids and how makes me so emotional when scenes about family love/stress are shown.
This is a perfect family movie.
DO catch this one! You won't regret it.

More about the movie can be found here:

*The website looks so cool btw! Wish I could make a website just like that… Hmmm probably can try…*

ARTEASE @ Cineleisure

Hey all!

AmoLaModa would always be at Scape Baazar level 4! Do come down and support us alright!

For all those that have been supporting us, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

That being said, I better get collection 4 updated into the website. it has been delayed for quite a while. oops. I SHALL DO IT TOMORROW!

anyway… Guessed what?!
Right after Dance class, Me and Kenlia went for a break to get something to eat or drink.
I introduced Kenlia to a famous milk tea/tea/coffee shop there called Artease.

I'm super in love with their Salted Caramel Milk Tea.
 It's supercilious!
Here's a look at their Menu. :)

Artease_order_menu_2.jpg

Today I tried their Double Chocolate (3rd Column) and Kenlia tried their Chocolate Mint Milk Tea. I'm quite satisfied with the taste of my double chocolate (Very chocolatey indeed but not that strong though) but! It would be SOO much better if the drink had more ice or if it's colder. Same comment goes for Kenlia's drink too. Kenlia's drink is minty but the mint taste is not that strong and you can taste the nice blend of mint, chocolate and milk tea in her drink.
Sadly, We just wished our drinks could be served colder since it was freaking hot outside! Haha…

RATING for ARTEASE

Customer Service: 3/5
One issue I have about Artease is that no matter how many times I tell them that I want 'Less Pearl', I'm sell getting SO much of them! This is quite irritating actually because I seriously can't enjoy my drink when there's too much pearl in it.
But I guess I could forgive them because they were in a rush anyway and there was a Long queue behind. Even customers have to be understanding sometimes ;p

Quality: 4/5
I'm not actually an expert on giving good reviews about the quality of their drinks but I guess that it was quite satisfactory. Their milk tea was quite nice and milky to me and I liked it very much. It has that 'Not-Your-Average-Milk-Tea' kind of sensation.

Taste: 3/5
Yes. I gave it a 3 for taste. What can I say…. I've got high standards.
*Biased mode*

Overall Satisfaction: 3/5
Seriously, they should just learn how to relax and try to make every order as nice as possible. It will probably help if they could stop rushing so much and just concentrate on trying to make sure that the drinks are cold enough and customer's preferences are taken into consideration. (I'm just still puffed up about the drinks not being cold. There were only small tiny pieces of ice floating on top!) =,="

Comments for those who might want to try Artease:
- ASK FOR LESS PEARL (Especially if you've just eaten lunch and if you're ordering the large size)
- DO try Salted Caramel Milk Tea. :)

you can visit their website of Facebook page.

I'M GOING TO TRY THIS NEXT!

DSLR Dilemma!

I am currently trying to research as much as possible about DSLR cameras.
Why?
- Because i've been wanting a DSLR camera since I left Photography Club when I left Secondary School - :'(

For 3 years and I'm still no where near on getting it because of financial reasons and also because I'm busy doing other things. But ever since I became the photographer for some events in school and used the school's DSLR camera, my photography interest (which was already there) just got 'maxified'.
*I've created a new word: MAXIFIED* HAHA

Now that I am an active blogger, I seriously want a DSLR camera.
Because I've been to events like EOY Cosplay Festival where I can find so many willing subjects to take great shots but I became depressed when I couldn't capture their awesome poses and costumes finely. Not only that, even during my long holiday trip in Indonesia, it was just so disappointing when I couldn't get awesome pictures for those memorable experiences.

SO! I have made myself serious on getting a DSLR this year.
"When there's a will, there's a way!"
… Find part-time job…

Here's the two DSLR that I am currently considering.
*I might consider other models after doing more research though*

Nikon D5200

Canon EOS 650D

I'm totally having a headache on figuring out which brand would be better.
NIKON or CANON.

I've been using Canon camera in photography club and I'm very fond of it.
But I understand that NIKON would be recommended for beginners because it has a much more friendlier and easy to understand user interface hence it would make any novice photographer like me to understand the camera functions better.

However, I wonder how much of the explanation from the small screen of the DSLR camera would really make any difference because I would also be taking my time to understand the camera functions and their basics by googling or watching tutorials in Youtube.

Like this YouTube video that I've just watched. It's very helpful.

Hmmmm…. Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions.
Thank you! (^_^)
