Memories of 2012 poem

As usual, I'll end up thinking very hard on what I've been doing for this whole year.

January and February flew pass so fast,
Stressed all over and assignments rushed,
I remembered the time when a savior came,
He pulled me up and put me back in the game.

As I escaped my exams in early March,
My excitement for China, was grew large.
I happily packed my bags and flew to Harbin,
There I was and my attachment begins.

6 weeks of independence,
No fret No regret,
It was like a holiday,
but I'm alone in the end.

I missed my family, my milo and my cat.
I missed my bedsheets, my pooh and especially my lad.
Sometimes I feel lonely when i'm in bed,
But at least I know pooh is safe in his hands.

My attachment seems slow but fast at the end,
as a super special surprise left my mouth hanged.
As hard as it seems for my eyes to believe,
right there beside me, I could feel that polar bear's heat.

True to love, as powerful as romance can be,
I'll never forget, even with my short term memory.

As time ran out, the holidays soon ended,
I came back to Singapore with my hair reborn-ded.
Similar to my hair, it's time to get things straight,
because school started and shall not be neglected.

Soon I realized how wrong I was,
to think that school, wouldn't be so tough.
Things didn't go right and it wasn't easy,
what made things worst was that my love story was getting flimsy.

Quarrels and arguments exchanged frequently,
the changed of attitude scared me secretly.
But no pain or scar could wound me deeply,
healed by love, that's what I've believed in.

Sadly in September things took a turn,
three hundred and sixty degree.
my heart took the damage,
a damage that was quite a great deal.

Masked with a double face on my side of the story,
I don't have to let anyone else feel sorry.
But late at night when the sky ain't starry,
tears ran down slowly but tirelessly.

Build up from all of the hurt and agony,
I searched of a way to release out of me.

My school, my business, my blog and my work,
all play a part in making me busy.
but still, unsatisfied and unhappy,
hip hop dance kicked me up from being lazy.

Now pinned up in a world I forced myself in,
I tried to shut myself up and stop hoping,
a hope to find us back,
from where it truly begins…

Java Overland Tour Day 3 - Day 10 (Last Day)

.

.
.

Have been busy since I came back from Indonesia, hence I didn't have much time to post about my awesome holiday! Especially when uploading the pictures to Facebook was such a hassle. >.<
Ouh well…
Here goes…but since a picture can say a thousand words, I shall be spamming lots of pictures in this post.
Truthfully, I have totally forgotten which pictures are taken on which day but roughly everything should be on the right chronological order.
I hope. ;p

At a very very very OLD memorial….

I am obsessed with this thing. Lolli!
Satay is always on the menu in Every Restaurant. But the Satay there are like 4 times bigger than the ones in SG. They in chunks and not minced. Chicken Satay would be recommended, whenever my mother tried the beef or motion satay, you'll have to be lucky enough that they'll serve you the 'chewable' ones… HAHA.

BEHOLD!
Wanna guess what this is???

IT's ICE CREAM! *sort of*
Its called… <oops sorry, I forgot>
but it's actually round ball like bread with Ice Cream Inside. The toppings you see are cherries and cheese!
My parents are just TOO cute! They are bring to mimic those statues behind them.

The soldier is so serious…

I am feeling TWILIGHT.
This is at Pancuran 7 in Baturraden.

Whoah….

This is another of my favorite place. It's a shop selling Batik paintings from a famous skilled batik painter.
Even though I said famous, I totally forgot his name. Haha… But this section only showcases the works of his students. We are not allowed to take pictures in other sections because those are painted by him and they even have certificates!
I saw one which is Super pretty and I really want to hang it on my room wall…
But I'm still hoping for my wish of having a big sakura photo frame or puzzle hanged on my wall to come true. SHALL HOLD ON TO THAT HOPE.

Me and my lovely partner IchiKo! I'm so so glad that i brought him along.

Borobudur! There's a very long history about this place. It's one of the world's 7 wonders.
Such an awesome place.

Everywhere wall is carved.

there's also performances there for you to enjoy

This picture is taken at Yogyakarta, Permandian Sultan.
The bathing area for the king. but this part of the area is the actually underground and a place for them to take their 'wuduk' (a process of cleansing) for prayers.

The whole story about this area is very interesting.

20 Maidens of the King will be swimming around and bathing in this area of the pool while the king watches them from the second story of the tower. The king will them throw a flower from there and whoever that is able to catch the flower would be brought over to the next smaller sized swimming pool  next door to have a chance to bath with the King.

It's awesome to be king.
And just this place where they all 'Bath' is So big!
It's like a whole village or you can even say the size of half of Singapore Polytecnic.
The tour guide was bringing us around from one place to another place…

This is where the King sits and enjoy the 'view'. Also the place where he would randomly throw a flower.

I just have to slot in this picture somewhere in the post. Seriously, how many times would you have the chance to sit on the roof in Singapore!

Random. YES. PIZZA HUT. >.<
After meal after meal of indonesian food.
I'm missing my inner Italian.

I am feeling very tired already because all the pictures are jumbled up and I don't think i have everything in chronological order. But hey! you can view lots more photos down below:

Java Overland Tour Day 1 and Day 2

JAVA OVERLAND HOLIDAY!
Our flight was cancelled and it made us panicked for a few minutes BUT! how fortunate for us that we got transferred to Garuda Airline Economy Class instead! :D
Had always been a 'Budget class' flight for us, but this was something different and I love the economy class chairs on the plane SO MUCH better. Finally…I seriously mean it… Finally…I can SLEEP on board.
Having fun riding trolley

IchiKo on the plane to Jakarta!

Not only that! The food was awesome. We had a choice of Chicken Fettucini OR Rice with Fish.
All of us took Chicken Fettucini. :) For some reason, I think it's probably better than Pastamania. haha ;P

Kick off the Holiday Java Overland tour with a little shopping at Thamrin City @ Jakarta.
It's a new shopping centre and I would recommend everyone to visit it if they would like to shop for Malay Clothes (Eg: For weddings, batik clothes) and shoes.

After shopping for a new shoe for Emelia (because her old shoes keep making her trip herself…) and other stuffs, our tour guide, Pak Ibnul, took us to our first restaurant for Dinner. Seafood Dinner. :D
The dish I like most would be the stuffed beanburd. Don't really know what's it called but they just call it 'Tahu'. It has creamy stuffings of vegetables and prawn… YES PRAWN…
Anything with Prawn is no doubt a bias recommendation from me. HAHA.

Fried Squid

Sambal Kangkong

Fish Dish > I Love their rich Gravy...

Papa 'Smelling' the Stuffed Beancurd.

After dinner, It's off to Orchardz hotel. I am loving this hotel, their hotel, tho it looked simple and low class, it seriously have good standards. Very Clean and Free Wifi! However, their breakfast wasn't really that much impressive but it was ok.

Each of us girls brought our OWN luggage. The black one belongs to Papa and Mama.

MORING!!! Rise and Shine!

On the second day, Pak Ibnul told us that our package tour is very special and rarely planned. Hence, he apologized sincerely if he wasn't so sure and couldn't remember much of the details of the places that we are going to visit. It has been around 10 years ago since his last tour of the same places that we took.
It was alright, everyone can re-visit and learn what they had forgotten form the past.
Papa and mama told the agent that one car is not enough to fit all the family members and our luggages. Hence, they arranged for a second car to follow us around throughout the whole journey. One car for the people (us) ad another car for all the things (our luggages and loots from shopping). O.0!
Meaning 2 cars and 2 drivers just for this one family. and the best thing is ---> NO EXTRA CHARGES. Very lucky and fortunate.
At least now our tour guide cum driver would have a friend accompanying him for the whole trip.

We were hoping that this is the stuffed bean curd… but its not :(

Lunch at Pringwasewu Restaurant…. With an Ocean View.
Grilled Fish… Crispy and super soft inside!

More Fried Squid

A Full Table.

Sup Buntut.
It's like Mutton Soup...

Hotplate Kangkong with Tauchu! Yes...Prawn!

The special thing about this restaurant is that we get to choose to either sit and dine like normal (using table and chairs) OR we could SIT LIKE THIS. Haha… the Indonesian Style. :)

ES Kelapa - Iced Coconut.
Should really try this if you're a coconut lover who doesn't mind a little extra specialty added to your coconut drink. This one has syrup and some other things added to it… It tasted more like Bandung coconut.

There was a 'Magic Box' there. I've got no body!

Day 2 was something different.
Out from Jakarta and into Cirebon, it was a 5 hour plus journey. *I slept almost all the way.
There was only one agenda for today which is to visit Makam Wali. (Shall update and find out who it was again…lol)
It was an eye opener to drive though open padi fields and feel how it was to be living in a village.
There was a lot of sheep. Fluffy and white. Haha...

The village

Super BIG Tasbir.

Pushcarts like this selling all kinds of food can be found everywhere at the sides of the streets.

This is a Nasi Sunda. Rice with Fried Chicken and side of veggies…Eat this with their Sambal.
SO Nice! Haha.. Although I didn't eat much, the rest of them seems quite happy with this.
It's a little bit like Nasi Ayam Penyek.

A rolled up rice. Haha..

Flying Garuda Fish. This is served with Salbal Kicap Manis with cili paid. wooo...

I NEED THIS everywhere I Go.

A little something interesting!
There are actually seasons here (At INDRAMAYU) where people would get married at the same time or get divorced. There would also be a Pasar Jodoh (Match-making Market) where the girls and guys would gather and within the same day, they would get to know each other. Once they talked and feel happy with the person that they've just met, the guys would bring the girls back home and get married straight away. ON THAT SAME NIGHT.

This is what I would call… EXPRESS MARRIAGE.
HAhaa… But of course with this sort of activities, there would also fast divorces.
Some people would just be married for only 4 days and then they get a divorce…
4 days of marriage!?
For some reason, I pity the girls there…
Every girl should have the chance to ind their true love and be happy for the rest of their lives with their  fated husband… :)
